It’s almost 18 months since we opened the doors of our New York Ready to wear store at 130 West 57th Street.
There were many people involved in bringing our vision for this store to life. Among them: Azark Inc., our architectural partner and kindred spirit in precision, legacy, and design.
From the earliest mockups to the final reveal, Azark didn’t just build a space, they built a home for the craft. Led by Allen Azarkian and Pierre Tairouz, their team translated our vision into a physical environment that feels tailored to the tailoring: elegant, intentional, and emotionally resonant.
Navigating New York’s regulatory maze is no small feat, but Azark guided us through every layer of code, compliance, and construction with clarity and care. Their turnkey approach meant that every detail from zoning to finishes was handled with the same intentionality we bring to our garments.
The result is our Ready to Wear store on West 57th Street: a street-level sanctuary where craftsmanship meets accessibility. Azark designed the space to flow like a well-built wardrobe - tailoring, outerwear, and accessories presented in rhythm, allowing each piece to breathe. Clients often say the shop feels like a quiet conversation between architecture and clothing, where the space doesn’t compete, but completes.
We’re truly grateful to the full Azark team Allen, Pierre, Maggie, Jillian, and Izabella whose care, creativity, and coordination helped bring this vision to life. This was a fun photo shoot for us, too. It’s rare we get full team shots, and the ladies brought a full-on Charlie’s Angels vibe poised, powerful, and playful. The whole team was a joy to work with: reliable, imaginative, and incredibly collaborative.
It’s a place where Savile Row tradition meets New York energy. Where legacy is built not just in stitches, but in stone, glass, and light. As we mark our one-year anniversary, we’re proud to celebrate Azark as a true Friend of Cad and prouder still to inhabit a space that frames our craft with such grace.
